| What are the first steps to start using MRTalk? |
All it takes are just three (3) simple steps. First, simply click on “New Users, Sign-Up Here!” icon (see below) to register as MRTalk member. Secondly, download MRTalk software application. Finally, upon successful installation of the software application, MRTalk is now ready for use. |

| How would I know if sign-up is successful? |
Soon as you have completed the sign-up accordingly, you will receive a confirmation via your web browser as well as an email confirmation (to email address provided during sign-up). Click on the link “Download” and follow the installation instructions. |

| How important is MRTalk ID and password? |
MRTalk ID is unique to each individual member. A member needs to log-in with his/her MRTalk ID and Password to gain access to all MRTalk services including user preference settings. Thus, members have to always ensure the safety of their own respective IDs and passwords at all times. |

| Are there any restrictions on the format of MRTalk ID & password? |
MRTalk ID has to be a minimum of 5 characters with a maximum of 12.
Valid characters for MRTalk ID: (a-z, A-Z, 0-9) and need to have at least one letter of the alphabet.
Password has to be a minimum of 6 characters with a maximum of 15.
Valid characters for password:(a-z, A-Z, 0-9, a-z, A-Z, 0-9, symbols: ~!@#$%^&*()_+=-`{}|[]\;':",./<>?). Password is case-sensitive. |

| Can my user profile be edited after sign-up? |
Yes. Go to www.mediaringtalk.com. Log-in with your MRTalk ID and Password to access the “User Account Portal”. Then, click on “User Profile” on the left to update or edit the user profile accordingly. |

| What should I do if I forget my password? |
Two ways to retrieve your password:

Simply click on MRTalk icon (which can be saved onto the PC desktop) to launch the software application. To sign-in, key in your MRTalkID and Password in the respective fields. |

| What are Groups? |
Groups provide you a much more efficient mechanism to manage your contacts. By default, MRTalk creates four (4) groups:

| Why do I see the message “pending authorization ” next to the contact? |
Whenever you “Add” a contact, a message is sent to your contact for his approval so that you can monitor his status. Once your contact approves it, the message will disappear and will now show your contact’s presence status. |

| Can I block someone from contacting me or watching my Presence status? |
Whenever someone attempts to “Add” you to their contact list so that they can monitor your presence status, a message will be sent to you for your approval. You can reject the request (by clicking “Reject” – see window below) to block the user to contact you ever again. |

| Can I search for contacts online? |
To protect the privacy of MRTalk members, MRTalk does not offer an online search facility. You always need to know the MRTalk ID of the contact you wish to add to your list. |

The conferencing feature in MRTalk enables you to host a conference with a maximum of 5 participants (including yourself as the host). These participants can be a mix of MRTalk members as well as other contacts who are non-MRTalk members, using a mobile or landline phone. |

Click on the sub-tab “Conference” and you will be presented with a window to add in the participants as well as enter a “Conference Title”.

Using MRTalk Out

MRTalk Out is the PC-to-Phone service of MRTalk. This service enables you to call any mobile or land number out there. To use MRTalk Out, you need to purchase Credits. |

| MRTalk Out is a premium service. MRTalk Out rates are fairly inexpensive compared to the other options out there. You can access the Rates information here. |

| How do I buy MRTalk Out credits? |
| In the “Phone” tab select the sub-tab “Buy Credits”. This will launch your web browser and land you on the “Sign-in” page on MRTalk’s website. Once you have successfully signed-in, you will see a button “Buy Credits” on the left side of the web page. |

| How do I make an MRTalk Out call? |
Dial any mobile or landline number either through the keypad or by entering in the top “phone number” input bar. You should enter the number in the following format:

| How long is the validity of MRTalk Out credit? |
MRTalk Out credit is valid for 6 months. Every time you recharge or have opted for auto-recharge, the expiration date gets extended for a further period of 6 months (for the entire balance). |

| Your MRTalk Out credit balance is shown on the top right-hand corner of the MRTalk client. You will be able to see the credit balance regardless of whether you are in “Contacts”, “Phone” or “Call Log” tabs. |
